Our Philosophy

Building Confident, Curious & Capable Learners

Our Philosophy - Future Step Nursery

Our Philosophy

At our Nursery, we believe that the early years are a unique and critical period in a child’s development. Guided by the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), our curriculum provides a rich, play-based learning environment where each child is nurtured to become a confident, curious, and capable learner.

We recognise that every child is unique, and our approach supports the development of the whole child – socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.

Building Strong Foundations for Future Learning

Our Curriculum Intent - Future Step Nursery

Our Curriculum Intent

Our intent is to offer a broad and balanced curriculum that builds strong foundations for future learning. Through engaging, purposeful experiences, we support children to develop communication skills, resilience, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

We value the importance of both child-initiated and adult-guided learning, ensuring that all children are encouraged to explore, question, and discover at their own pace.
